Cook Island Language week

IALA:The similarities between my culture and the cook island culture.

Today we got given a task The task was all about cook island language week It was a simple and fun task There a fact that I 100% already knew and that fact was ''That the 15 stars on the Cook Island flag represents the 15 islands that created the Cook Islands.Also did you know that The Colour blue represents on the Cook Island flag is the surroundings of the  ocean around the Cook Islands.It also repersents the calm and passive nature of the island inhabitants.
Cook Island Language is very similar to Maori Language
The way how it is very similar the number words sound the same.
There facts that I have learned today was:
1:That The capital is avarua.
2:The union jack represents the ties between the cook island united kingdom and the commonwealth.
3:And the last fact that I found interesting is that The official language on the Cook Islands is English, but many people speak Maori.
