Technology reflection

IALT:Reflect on what I have done,what I have learnt and what I could do better next time.

Today at Technology my task was to draw 6 main ideas and choose one idea out of the whole six.
The idea that I chose was a basketball.The reason why I chose the Basketball was that it is one of my favourite sports I like it the most because when I play I put my Rugby union and league,basketball skills into my dribbling and shooting.When this idea is fully completed I am going to treasure it forever because it is related to me.The reason why it relates to me is that I am sportys and Basketball is a sport and my favourite
N.B.A  Team is Golden State Warriors and my favourite Player in the whole Nba basketball is Stephen curry.That's not just the only reason why I like basketball the other reason is that I enjoy playing that sport with my friends because it encourages me to build relationships with others get along with one another.I also like it because I like getting exercise and it is a good way to stay fit.

Something I have learnt while doing this task is being creative and choosing the right idea and see how that relates to me.

This task is enjoying and I like being creative while making funny jokes I am nearly going to make my clock.

The class of Technology that I attend is Graphics it is a good class because I love creating 3D things and I also especially love art it is a pleasure to do something I love every thursday.The next Technology class that myself and also my group will be attending will be Food I cant wait because we get to cook and learn new things and experiment things we have never experimented.

There are Three Technology classes at Tamaki College.

This blogpost is really showing that I how lot a lot of things.

Something I need to work on next time is trying to think outside of the box and trying to finish the steps of my project.

Kumara Chips reflection

IALT:Reflect on the cooking we did yesterday

Yesterday we were split up into different groups to prepare our Kumara chips.First of all what we did was wash the kumara so it's ultra clean for us to eat then we cut the kumara thick so its nice to eat.The outcome was amazing after I finished eating the Kumara chips I didn't want to eat onwards my stomach was so full of kumara chips that I didn't want dinner.

                                                 
Something I have learnt is that you could cook something healthier at home for free and you could buy something unhealthy and that would not be good for your body it could affect your body and also your future.

                                   This is my group we made excellent sauces and our Kumara chips were OP(On point) it was very nice I felt the sweetness on my tongue and it felt like I was watching a sad movie.Also I loved the cheese bread while I was eating the sweetness of the kumara It was  just on point and I would like to thank my group for contributing in this event.

All Blacks beat Lions in first test

IAL:Read an article and reflect on it.

On Saturday the 24th of June the 1st test match Lions vs The mighty All Blacks.The Challenge took place at Eden park in Auckland.All blacks scored a try into 17 minutes into the game.The try scorer was Cody Taylor (the Hooker).The final score was 30 -15

Something I have learnt reading this article

is that the All Blacks give pressure and I think this series is going be a tough call and also in this picture in the background kieran read was supporting and to expand on Kieran Read set a try it was a very good trie by Reiko Loane.

 In this photo of Reiko loane he scored two outstanding tries and he played Julian Savea's number.The number is number 11 number 11 is the left wing Reiko Loane is fast on that wing and when Julian Savea is strong on that wing because if someone tries to stop him he makes sure that person if not in his way.

In this picture it is the first five Beauden Barrett he was outstanding with the penalty drop goal and the conversions he never missed one conversion during that game.It was a very tough game for the All Blacks and the Lions the lions played fantastic and they didn't bring enough to the stadium to beat the All Blacks.

Thankyou letter to Tamati and his staff

IAL:To write a letter to the people that help our community.

Today I have wrote a letter to Tamati and his staff.They helped us in a lot of ways.they helped us by getting to know more people in our community and building stronger relationships with our cluster .

we were planting trees to help our community have more trees and more shade on the land that it is on.One thing I learnt in this event is builder stronger connections with my cluster peers.

After we finished planting trees my kia manawanui syndicate went to  pt england reserve to play some good rugby league.I was a good rugby league game because we all had fun and we enjoyed playing some outstanding rugby league for two and a half hours none stop.

Something I have learnt while blogging this is that we need to keep our community tidy so it last longer.The main reason why I like my community us that I have respect for and it is a good community for people to live in.

Taku Rakau Whainga-Term Two 2017

IAL:To set goals for myself and achieve them for myself. 

Today we got given given a task to expand on our goals for 2017.One goal for Term three is to put my words into action and taking my Student leader roll seriously and taking it to the next step.Also something i would like to say is that I would like to build even stronger relationships with my peers.

Also in this task it said who do I admire.I admire Julian Savea
I admire him Because He is a superstar of the Number#1 rugby team in the world and also he played my favourite sport and he is a bump off machine and also I admire him because he is a hard worker man and that makes me so inspired to him.

Also in this task it says  who shines the brightest in your world and I chose my Mother.I chose my mother because she supports me and she provides a roof over my head and she is their for the good times and the bad times and I would just like to thank her because she is the most lovely and caring person I have met she even uses her spare time to help her peers and other people.

Also There was a question in my task and it says the people that support my decision.The people support my decision is My family member Uncle Nathan because he always encourage no matter what.Also my friend Kauri encouraged me to be a student leader for our school to make it a better place so I applied to be one so I stated my reasons and my opinions wisely.And now I am a leader of My school and I just would like to thank you for the encouragement.

Also in this task it asks me to reflect on this year.The first thing I wrote is that I am a leader of the school and juniors look up to me and I consider myself as  trustworthy and I also look at this year as being a good year for me and my year 8's.All I want to do this year is to make memories with my peers and my teachers because I am heading of to college. This is a really good year for me because its time to step up and show the juniors how to do the right thing at right time and its also time to sow a good example to the year sevens.

Also In this task it asks me to set some goals for the future and one of them is to continue being a leader and keeping the role of a leader in the future and also I would like to have a career in rugby. The team I would like to play for would be All blacks I have a plan for that and I think it might work.I would want to play for Auckland Itm cup and get into the Hurricanes or the Crusaders and play well for that team and hopefully get chosen to be apart of the All blacks squad.

Technology reflection

Today at Technology We draw 6 designs and my six design were the GSW logo
Chicago Bulls logo and clocks the whole cause of this is about drawing clocks.I am going to design a bull as my clock because I like the team Chicago Bulls and also I would really looked good when Its finished Golden State Warriors is my favourite team I was going to do that for my final designs but the bull would be a better outcome.

My favourite NBA PLAYER AND TEAM

Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors Go Head To Head

IALT: Write about the Cavs and Warriors going head to head in the finals for the third successive year. 

Once again, the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors will go head to head in the NBA final once again, today at 1:00pm the first round of the series will begin. It will be another exciting series as they went head to head last year in the same situation. To see who will be the 2017 NBA Champions. The match was finalised after the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Boston Celtics in a 4-1 series. Any easy win for the Cavs, same to the Warriors, they beat the San Antonio Spurs 4-0. 

The game was LeBron James become the highest scorer in NBA play-off history, surpassing Michael Jordan’s record of 5987, with a 35-point effort for the Cavaliers.That helped the visitors ease to a 135-102 victory that wrapped up a 4-1 series victory and clinched the Eastern Conference. It is the seventh successive year James had lead his team to the finals. 

What are my thoughts on this article?

Well I am a huge Cavs fan, and so therefore I am thinking that they will win for the 2nd year straight. Although the Warriors, are known to be the best team in the NBA I still think the Cavs have a chance of overcoming them and be the 2017 NBA champions. Although the Golden Warriors have had a better season than the Cavs, they still have a chance of beating the Cavs. 

Going back to last year, both teams had a good chance of retaining the trophy but in the end, the Cavs had the better skill set and Teamwork. I hope the Cavs beat the Warriors in their first match today. #UpTheCavs
