IALT:Make person connections to a given quote/Whakatauki

oday we were given a Whakatauki that is like the quote of the week and in this task we explain what the key message in this given quote and when and how it relates to you.The WhakaTauki that was given was this: 

Ka pu te ruha,ka hao te rangatahi

In english translation this means.As a old net withers another is remade

To me the key message is:When an elder is no longer fit to lead, a healthier leader will stand in his place.  Making connections to the election 2017!  When is it time for new leadership, new beginnings, a fresh new change?

Some challenges I faced was trying to think of my own version of a WhakaTauki related to this one because this task was a real challenge because at the start I didn't understand why you have to eat to strive.My own quote was:A leader is someone who demonstrates whats possible.

If you wanna be a leader you have to step up not other to your teachers and friends but also other leaders because that show that you are capable of being a leader and means you will have a lot of responsibility around the school an example of this you will might have to do breakfast club or stairs duty.

Something I need to learn is to add more quotes some the readers know what I am talking about also I need to focus on trying to explain the meaning to what I am talking about.

Technology reflection

IALT:Reflect on Tech

Today at Technology we made sweet chilli chicken.These are the steps on how to make sweet chilli chicken.

Get 2 drumsticks

1/2 tsp,pepper,salt,mix herb,chilli sweet sauce.

.Marinate before frying.
Fry the chicken for approx 20 mins until fully cooked.

3.serve it with rice.

Something that I learnt at technology was how to cook sweet chilli chicken. Also something else that I have learnt at technology is that to clean after I finish baking/cooking because I need to keep the kitchen clean so that the taters are not getting sick or ill. Also something else I leant was to try make it equally as possible.

Something I need to focus on next time is to is to leave the degrees the way it is because once I kept turning the degrees down and that made it cook slower and I kept getting in trouble.DO you wanna know why i need focus on that.I need to focus on that because we I kept turning it down I was the last to finish.



Some challenges I faced was trying to put the milk shakes in my friends cups.You might be thinking was was that a challenge.That was a challenge for me because I had to put an equal amount of milkshakes in each cups to make it fare.

Your voice,your choice

IALT:Compare and contrast prospective policies to form person opinions.

Today we were give a task,that task was named your voice,your choice.It is mainly about the election that is happening on Saturday the 23rd of September.Do you wanna know who I would vote for?

I will tell you.I vote for labour I will tell you why I would vote for labour.They are willing to pay teacher aids a xtra 80m dollars for all of their hard work.

The challenge was:Trying to vote for national or labour.But I went for labour I went for them because they are willing to help people and give them more money because they work harder and sometimes they work much longer.

Something I learnt was that labour is much more than a voting party they do much more.They want to help others out in my and your community and they  want to make Auckland,Wellington,Taupo a better place.
